These Terms of Service govern your use of the Questika mobile application and related services. By using the Questika app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the application.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Questika application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, please discontinue use of the application. Changes to these Terms are made as described in Section 13.
For the parent account, premium subscription, billing and other parent-only functions, these Terms form an agreement between the adult account holder and Rincon. For the child-profile services identified in Section 3, the parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms in the child's name as the child's legal representative. The child, represented by that adult, is the contracting party for those child-profile services, and Rincon is the other contracting party.
2. Description of Service
Questika is a mobile application that helps parents organize their children's daily tasks through gamification. The app offers a system of collections, virtual worlds, and optional allowance tracking, motivating children to complete their daily responsibilities in an engaging way.
Allowance tracking is an organizational tool for families. If a parent or legal guardian enables allowance features, that parent or guardian is solely responsible for deciding whether any real-world allowance is paid, the amount and timing of any payout, and any related legal, tax, banking, or family obligations. Rincon and Questika do not hold funds, transfer money, process allowance payouts, guarantee payment, or owe any allowance amount to a child or parent.
The Questika app is available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store).
3. Accounts and Registration
Parent Account
- To access the full functionality of Questika, a parent or legal guardian must create an account using an email address and password.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create a parent account.
- You are required to provide accurate and current information during registration.
- The parent is fully responsible for maintaining the security of their account, including keeping login credentials confidential.
- One parent account can manage multiple children's profiles.
- Multiple parents can be linked to one child's profile.
Child Profiles
- Child profiles are created exclusively by a parent or legal guardian within the parent's account.
- A child logs in using a simple code generated by the parent — no email address or password is required.
- The parent is fully responsible for how the child uses the application.
- By creating or joining a child profile, the parent or legal guardian declares that they have legal authority to represent that child and, acting in the child's name, concludes these Terms for the child's profile administration, task, quest and reward features, and allowance-tracking features. The child is the represented contracting party for those services. The adult remains the contracting party in their own right only for the parent account, premium subscription, billing and other parent-only functions.
- The parent or legal guardian must not act for a child where the required authority or agreement of another representative is absent, where their interests conflict with the child's interests, or where the law requires a court-appointed or other representative. The related processing of the child's data is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Premium Subscription
Questika offers optional premium features available through a subscription.
- Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Payment is processed entirely by the respective store (Apple or Google). Questika does not process payment card information or users' banking data.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation: subscription management, including cancellation, is handled through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds: subscription refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Questika in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms. In particular, you must not:
- Use the application for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Questika's systems, servers, or data.
- Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
- Upload or introduce harmful, offensive, or infringing content into the application.
- Create child profiles for anyone other than your own children or children under your legal guardianship.
- Share child login codes with unauthorized persons.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within the Questika application, including graphics, characters, animations, game elements, source code, interface design, and the Questika name and logo, are the intellectual property of Rincon sp. z o.o. and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, publish, or otherwise use any of these materials without prior written permission from the owner.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of the data you input into the application, such as names, task descriptions, notes, and allowance settings.
By using the application, you grant Questika a limited license to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the app's functionality, including data synchronization across devices. This license remains in effect for the duration of your use of the service and terminates upon deletion of your account.
8. Availability and Changes
The Questika application is provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure continuous availability of the service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the application.
We may modify, update, or discontinue individual features of the application only for a valid reason stated in these Terms: where necessary to ensure the security of the service, correct an error or vulnerability, or maintain compliance with law; where a change to the requirements of the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another external service necessary for a feature to operate, or the end of support for technology used by that feature, makes it impossible to continue providing it on the existing terms; or where we add, replace, or improve features without limiting essential characteristics of the service or users' rights and without changing the price. The scope of the change must correspond to its reason. A change that limits essential characteristics of the service, in particular the scope of features covered by a paid subscription, is a material change and is subject to Section 13; this Section may not be used to bypass those rules.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Questika (Rincon sp. z o.o.) shall not be liable for:
- Decisions made by the user based on task, allowance, or child progress data within the application.
- Loss of data caused by device failure, loss of account access, or other circumstances attributable to the user.
- Temporary service interruptions resulting from maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
- Issues related to the operation of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, including payment processing and app availability.
Questika's maximum aggregate liability to any user shall be limited to the total subscription fees paid by that user during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory provisions of applicable law — in particular liability for damage caused intentionally — nor does it affect the statutory rights of consumers, including rights relating to the conformity of a digital service with the contract. With respect to consumers, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate the account of any user who violates these Terms, uses the application in an unlawful manner, or engages in activity harmful to Questika or other users.
You may delete your parent account and the data tied to it at any time in Questika by going to Settings → Delete account and typing DELETE to confirm. If you cannot access the app, contact us at as a support fallback.
11. Complaints
Complaints about the operation of the Questika application or services may be submitted by email to . A complaint should include the email address of the parent account and a description of the issue.
We respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt. These Terms do not limit consumers' statutory rights relating to the conformity of a digital service with the contract (including the right to have the service brought into conformity, a price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract).
12. Right of Withdrawal
A consumer who has concluded a distance contract may withdraw from it within 14 days without giving any reason. For free use of the application, it is sufficient to stop using it or delete the account (Section 10); a withdrawal notice may also be sent to .
Premium subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play — withdrawal from a subscription contract and refunds are handled through the relevant store in accordance with its procedures (Section 4). This does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms only for a valid reason: a change in law or a decision of a competent authority that is binding on us; a change to the features or operation of the application made in accordance with Section 8 where it requires these Terms to be adjusted; a change to Apple App Store or Google Play requirements that affects these Terms; the need to protect users or the service against a specifically identified security threat; or the need to improve clarity or correct an error or inconsistency in these Terms. The scope of the change must correspond to its reason. A change is material in particular where it limits a user's rights, imposes new obligations on the user, or concerns essential characteristics of the service or payment terms. This Section does not provide an independent basis for changing the price. Each new version will be published on the Questika website with an updated effective date.
We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes — in the app or by email. Continued use of the application after material changes take effect requires their explicit acceptance in the app; until accepted, access to parent-account features may be limited. A user who does not accept the changes may delete their account at any time (Section 10).
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes arising from the use of the Questika application or related to these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Poland.
This choice of law and forum does not deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence, nor of the right to bring proceedings before a court having jurisdiction under generally applicable rules.
These Terms are made available in several languages for convenience. The English version is the reference for interpretation only to the extent permitted by mandatory law. This does not affect mandatory consumer protections or any legally required local-language version. For consumers in Poland, the Polish version is the basis for interpretation and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
